Dinner at Park Country Club

Saturday, February 1, 2025

A delightful and delicious evening at Park Country Club, featuring the Mediterranean-inspired cuisine of Executive Chef Eric Nessa.

About the Venue

The Park Country Club was founded in 1903, and in 1927 moved from its original Delaware Ave location to Sheridan Drive where noted country club architect Clifford Charles Wendehack (who also designed Wingfoot) designed the clubhouse. The exquisite golf course was designed and built by an equally renowned golf course architectural firm, Colt & Alison. The Park Country Club was the location of the 1934 PGA Championship, as well as numerous amateur events. Now into their second “Century of Tradition,” recent renovations and additions have made it a first-rate country club.

About the Chef

Executive Chef Eric Nessa brings over 30 years in the culinary industry, with modest beginnings in a small family-run eatery in Western Michigan. In the early 1990s, Eric relocated to Buffalo, where his first opportunity was at The Place in the Elmwood Village. Since then, Chef Eric held leadership roles at The Roseland, Siena, and Zuzon. In 2005 Eric joined Tempo Restaurant, where he rose from Sous Chef to Executive Chef in 2011. In 2013 Eric left Tempo to take the helm as Executive Chef at Buffalo Chophouse. Post-COVID, Eric joined the team at Salvatore’s, and in 2021 he became the Executive Chef of Lombardo’s. He took over at Park in late 2024. Eric’s cuisine focuses on the Mediterranean region, with Latin American influences.
