About the Venue
Lovingly named “Angeline” for his mother, Mark Hutchinson of Hutch’s fame, in partnership with James Brown (who has 20-plus years of fine-dining experience), completely overhauled the former Tempo for Buffalo’s new and swanky restaurant. Designed by Samuel Amoia Associates, a New York City interior design studio founded by a Buffalo native, Angeline is outfitted with new finishes, gold walls and green velvet banquettes. Dinner at Angeline’s on a Friday or Saturday is THE reservation to get, and THE place to be seen. The staff is trained in French service, with captains leading teams of servers, shared plates and traditional wine service.
About the Chef
Executive Chef Alex Locke brings experience from fine dining restaurants in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. With a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and Grand Diplôme from the International Culinary Center, he has worked closely with Brown and Hutchinson to curate an exceptional beverage program with a range of options including older vintage wines and cocktails focused on Italian café classics like Negroni and “big city” martinis.
